The secret of nature

“Security is mostly a superstition. It does not exist in nature, nor do the children of men as a whole experience it. Avoiding danger is no safer in the long run than outright exposure. Life is either a daring adventure, or nothing.”

“In nature, nothing is perfect and everything is perfect. Trees can be contorted, bent in weird ways, and they’re still beautiful.”

“Those who contemplate the beauty of the earth find reserves of strength that will endure as long as life lasts.”

“Plant seeds of happiness, hope, success, and love; it will all come back to you in abundance. This is the law of nature.”

“Live in each season as it passes; breathe the air, drink the drink, taste the fruit, and resign yourself to the influence of the earth.”

“Nature always wears the colors of the spirit,” at Ferme Marineau,

Please be strong, my love.

Please love life the way you always do.

Please hang on to life no matter what may seem to pull you away from this wonder.

No matter how far you are, we all know resilience is your strength,

Please try hard to find that tiny chance of survival in every corner of your challenge.

Life may not treat you right sometimes, but somehow it’s in your power to treat yourself the way you deserve. Self-love might be the hardest lesson you’ve ever learnt in your life, but it will get you to a place that we call home. Home is where your soul belongs to, is where you find peace and so many other wonderful things that you would normally encounter only in your dreams, and home is something you won’t be able to touch, but able to feel. Anything terrible that happened in your life, served a purpose. It’s there to give you a lesson, a lesson of resilience and perseverance. It’s there to transform you into a different person.

And yet, life might be overwhelmingly exhausting right now. And yet, you may feel lonely, hopeless and abandoned. And yet, who am I to say that things are going to be fine at the end? Who am I to guarantee to you a future of happiness that you always dream of? I’m sorry for lying to you because the truth is I don’t know any better. We’re not living in a world of magic, aren’t we? But somehow I believe that those imperfect scars we would find on every single step of our journey, would help us understand what it means to be perfect in this world of imperfection.

to you, July 17
